Lymabean is a Flex 3 based social networking site targeting college students. This was a completely skinned Flex solution with with a host of custom components. We ported the XIFF library to AS3 to enable sharing, presence, chat among other things, with the use of a standard XMPP server. The application ties into a Java back-end to provide services, though much of the intensive work was pushed to client side for scalability.
I acted as a product development specialist while I assisted in pitching for VC funding, designing the product and creating a social media revenue model.
